Atomic Reaction - CBC DOCS

Zachary Ruiter was the Research Coordinator for the feature documentary Atomic Reaction. The film was produced by Canadian media legends David Hatch and Bernie Finkelstein and directed and edited by award winning and Emmy nominated filmmaker Michèle Hozer.

From the mining of uranium in Dene territory at Great Bear Lake to its refining in Port Hope, Ontario, Atomic Reaction reveals the toxic and on-going legacy of Canada’s involvement in the Manhattan Project - the program responsible for the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
